Can you imagine how #drug delivery platforms can serve the field of #tissue engineering? Our new paper has just been published in ACS Materials Letter! We develop “proT-patch”, a smart polymeric microneedles for non-invasive targeted drug delivery to specific layers of skin for reprogramming the skin identity. This work demonstrates the importance of both materials and structural design in microneedle development to achieve the desired performance. We cannot be more grateful for having the collaborators from Imperial College London, Prof. Claire Higgins and Prof. Ben Almquist (and their team) for their invaluable contributions.
